Solution:
Before applying dust control products, level potholes and ruts. Proper grading ensures a smooth surface, protecting both the road and the treatment layer.
Ensure Proper Drainage
Drainage is critical for the performance of dust suppression treatments, especially in tropical regions like Southeast Asia, where heavy rains are frequent.

- Standing water weakens the road base
- Water flow across the road washes away treatment products
- Accelerates erosion and structural damage
Solution:
Build side drainage canals or culverts to control water flow. Prevent uncontrolled runoff from crossing the road surface. This ensures the road remains intact during the rainy season and that treatments remain effective.
